My academic background includes a bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. I also have a graduate degree in French Literature from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. My more than three decades of being a teacher has taken me from working in classrooms with middle school students to lecture halls with college students. The subjects I have taught are even more diverse and include Latin, Spanish, French, coaching, and technology. Some of the less common areas I have taught are sailing and coastal navigation, photography, and athletic rehab. If you were to speak to my former students, they would describe me as a good listener, patient, very organized, and enthusiastic. Some of my strengths are clear and concise communication, attention to detail, and a precise style of writing. The combination of my experiences and being well read has resulted in me having interests across multiple disciplines. I can provide tutoring in French 1 - 4, French Advanced Placement, Latin 1 and 2, and Spanish 1 and 2. I live in Pataskala, Ohio. I like to garden, cook, and read. When time allows, I love to visit the coast of Maine.
